A unique introduction to a unique student experience
Black, Latinx and Native American Family Orientation is a voluntary program designed to share information about the UC San Diego student experience from a culturally informed lens. Participants will be able to engage with other incoming families, learn about campus resources, and get familiar with the campus. This orientation program is open to all incoming students and their families, regardless of race, color, national origin, or any other protected status.
Finding your campus community
Black, Latinx, and Native American Family Orientation is hosted by the Black Resource Center, Raza Resource Centro, Intertribal Resource Center and the office of Student Retention and Success.

While all incoming students and their families are welcome and encouraged to attend Black, Latinx and Native American Family Orientation, space for this program is limited. If registration is full, please know that we value your participation and will post key information on accessible websites and inform all students of Open House options. As always, campus partners will be available for follow-up conversations to welcome you to UC San Diego. Black, Latinx, and Native American Family Orientation does not consider race, color, national origin, or any other protected status as part of the application and selection process.
